The original playground by Mostecké Lake is inspired by nautical themes, which beautifully complements the environment of the artificial beach in the recreational area by the lake. It takes the form of a stranded ship on the sandy beach, featuring low rope obstacles, balance beams, and other play elements reminiscent of parts of a ship and its equipment. Among the attractions on the playground are a slide, a bouldering wall, a guard’s basket, and a ship’s phone. The main feature of the playground is a lighthouse with an observation deck and a slide connected to the ship by a suspended bridge.
Adjacent to the children’s playground is a nautical balance trail with a workout area, where teenagers and adults alike can train their balance and the ability to stay on board, regardless of the absence of the sea. The nautical theme is enhanced by the composition of elements and a beautiful artistic design, making the playground and balance trail visually appealing as a cohesive play area that appeals to both young and old.
