What is a 3D maze?

Never heard of it? It’s not a rope course, and it’s not a treetop walk either – though it offers similar thrills, and something extra on top. We designed the very first 3D Maze back in 2017. Since then, we've built dozens of them across Czechia, Slovakia, Poland, and even South Korea. And we're just getting started – new projects are on the way in Germany and Ireland.

A family-friendly outdoor adventura

A 3D Maze is a unique outdoor attraction made of suspended walkways with obstacles – set in the treetops or on wooden or steel pillars, sometimes over several levels. Visitors move freely and safely through the maze, as all walkways are fully enclosed in nets on all sides. The obstacles vary in difficulty, but they’re all easy enough for an average adult, child or senior. We offer nearly 40 types of obstacles, most of them made from rope. Some are painted and can be themed to match your location or story. You can also spice things up with add-ons like a tube slide, wire tunnels or an interactive game.

Built for any terrain

There’s no one-size-fits-all version of the 3D Maze. Each one is tailored to the site and the client’s needs. It can be built on wood or steel posts – or even directly on mature trees – as long as they’re healthy and the installation process keeps them intact. The maze can stand on flat land, a steep slope, in a forest, a meadow – we even built one on the rooftop of a shopping centre. The largest maze so far stands in Most and has three levels and 14 pillars. But we’ve also created smaller ones with a single level and just five posts. In short: the layout and footprint are fully customisable.

Low operating costs

Once built, a 3D Maze can start generating revenue immediately. No trained staff needed, no additional equipment. It runs at a much lower cost than many other attractions – there's no need for electricity or on-site staff. The maze can even operate independently with a turnstile and ticket machine. It only requires an annual inspection by a certified technician and regular visual checks. We’ll provide a simple maintenance guide as part of the handover.

Add-ons & upgrades

The 3D Maze can easily be combined with other attractions. In Stalowa Wola, it connects to a treetop trail with a scenic viewpoint. In South Korea, the maze paths lead to a central observation tower. Years after installation, you can upgrade or expand the attraction – for example by adding a net playground between the same pillars. You’ll find such setups in Velké Karlovice or Osek. We can also design extras like picnic spots for parents, toddler playgrounds, or refreshment kiosks – whatever suits your location.

A sustainable attraction that promotes wellbeing

We use long-lasting natural materials – mainly robinia, larch, and spruce – and high-durability steel with minimal maintenance needs. The attraction itself doesn’t require electricity (ticket machines can be solar-powered), produces no emissions or noise, and blends naturally into the landscape. It invites visitors to move, play, and spend time in nature. The physical challenge helps build confidence – and, most importantly, it gives families a way to enjoy time together. Adults often find it even more challenging than the kids. Will they accept the challenge?

What our clients say

"We were looking for a unique way to make our recreational forest area more attractive to the public. After the rope course in Podhŭra reached the end of its service life, we missed having something similar for active outdoor fun – so we chose a 3D Maze. It's the perfect option for families, fits beautifully into the natural surroundings, and offers safe entertainment for both children and adults with minimal staffing or upkeep. Visitors to our Family Park in Podhŭra are thrilled – in the first month alone, we welcomed 2,225 paying visitors, far exceeding our expectations."
