The project of the adventure playground was developed as part of the revitalization of the surroundings of the housing estate in Brno-Medlánky. We complemented the existing children's playground, petanque area, and outdoor fitness facility in the area by adding a missing space for active recreation for children aged 6-12. The playground is designed to naturally encourage this demanding age group to spend their leisure time in an outdoor environment and develop their physical skills, including real social interactions.

The location and design of the structure are inviting from a distance. The playground is the centerpiece of a terrain elevation formed by artificial soil fill. Its shape resembles a fortress, consisting of three towers connected by walkways with various obstacles. The construction of the playground is designed with the possibility of potential expansion to include additional elements such as slides, a low rope park, or climbing structures.

The design caters to a wide range of demands and movement abilities of the target age group. The obstacles, which may seem suitable for younger children at first glance, can be a significant challenge even for older kids if they engage their imagination. Try conquering the Halda adventure playground with blindfolds on or perhaps in the dark with headlamps with your children. The shared adventure and experiences might surprise you too!
